Session 6 of “The Sunless Citadel” begins with the adventurers continuing their exploration. They start by encountering a room where a goblin and two goblin commoners are monitoring a diseased giant rat strapped to a workbench, which has strange, wooden, fruit-like tumors growing on it. A combat ensues in this room after Anna fires her crossbow. The party, including Navin, Shannon, Anna, Murky, Damon, and Tempest, engages the goblins and the rat. The giant rat is eventually killed by Damon's fire bolt.
After the combat, the party explores a nearby weapon storeroom where Shannon notices 40 arrows, five scimitars, and six short bows.
A smaller group consisting of Tempest, Stelthing, David, and Turkey (Murky) investigates a rough cavern where they find a palette, weapons on a board, a cloak, and two giant rats in nests. They attempt a stealthy approach, but combat breaks out. One giant rat, named Fang, is killed, and another is injured. After the fight, they find a great sword, six javelins, one long sword, one spear, 54 gold pieces, and 241 silver pieces in a hidden box.
The party then encounters a door that Turkey kicks open, revealing a 10×10 room with another door. Murky opens this second door, leading to a much larger room with luminescent fungus and a bugbear doing gardening with a sickle-bladed glaive. Combat immediately starts with the gardener bugbear. After defeating it, they find a potion of healing.
Continuing their exploration, Turkey opens another door to find a garden with one goblin and three commoners tending to plants, initiating another combat.
The party then enters a garden chamber where they notice scorched fungus and little holes in the floor, similar to where they previously encountered a fire snake. A fire snake then slithers out of the fungus, leading to another combat. After defeating the fire snake, the party finds a single sapphire in the room.
They proceed to open another door and find a room with three skeletons and one twig blight, armed with rakes and a shovel. Combat begins, and Murky uses his Channel Divinity to turn one of the skeletons. The party defeats the remaining skeletons. No treasure is found in this room.
Finally, Tempest opens another door to reveal another garden. The session concludes here, with the Dungeon Master announcing that the party has reached third level and will take a long rest to recover spell slots.
