Lost Mine of Phandelver is an adventure for four to five characters of 1st level. During the course of the adventure, the characters will advance to 5th level. The adventure is set a short distance from the city of Neverwinter in the Sword Coast region of the Forgotten Realms setting. The Sword Coast is part of the North-a vast realm of free settlements surrounded by wilderness and adventure. Looks like we are starting a tabletop campaign.  Naturally Fantasy Grounds will be a big part of the campaign as we use it to display maps, combat tracker and more.

The party rescues the Yellow King and return to the way station.  Once they have rested, the Yellow King takes them to see the Mad Poet.  When approaching the Mad Poet’s hut, poppy and Sith get captivated by this tree.  Eric Kell trips Sith in order to break him free of his enchantment.  Poppy walks up to the tree and starts to eat one of the fruits.  The tree swings one of it’s fruit laden branches and hits Poppy.  Poppy notices that the fruit has a mouth that actually bit him. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZTTh-CHP0w After defeating the tree, the Mad Poet appears…

Droskar’s Crucible

Needed a quick adventure to introduce new players to Dungeons and Dragons.  I converted the Droskar’s Crucible from the 3.5 adventure Hollow’s Last Hope to 5th edition rules. Our adventures were hired by the herbalist in Falcon’s Hollow to locate and gather some mushrooms that are needed to eradicate a plague that’s going around town.  On the way to the Crucible, the party encounter a kobold hunting party.  They were successful in eliminating the threat.   At the crucible itself, the party encounters a wolf pack and several skeletons.  The group was able to collect the mushrooms and save the town.
